Danube awards recognise outstanding support from Gyproc

The outstanding level of help and support from the company’s Customer Services team has led to Gyproc being recognised as an essential supply partner by Danube, one of the Middle East’s largest, and rapidly growing, building material stockists and distributors.

To maintain its challenging growth plans, and ensure availability of market leading building components, such as plasterboard and metal frame components, throughout its store network, Danube is working closely with market leading companies like Gyproc. In turn, Danube relies on the support of its suppliers to ensure that its supply chain process operates smoothly and without problems.

The support his company has received from Gyproc has been outstanding, according to Danube Group Chairman, Rizwan Sajan.  “Gyproc’s Customer Service team works closely with our own buying teams at all times. They work on their own initiative to make sure the account runs smoothly and efficiently, responding quickly to queries so that we can keep our sales teams and customers fully informed. We get correct information and documentation on time, which helps to further reinforce our relationship with our customers. With an organisation and customer base as extensive as Danube’s, we need the supply chain process to run smoothly, and with Gyproc it does.

“We are also grateful for the help we get from Gyproc’s Sales and Technical teams, who keep us informed of business opportunities throughout the region and then provide support throughout the supply process.”

The members of Gyproc’s Customer Service team were recognized for their hard work and support at a special ceremony at Danube’s offices in April where each member was presented with a personalised appreciation letter and a special plaque.

Gyproc’s Managing Director, Craig Chambers, was delighted with the awards, “Sales of Gyproc wall and partition systems are growing rapidly in the region thanks to the support that we, in turn, get from leading companies like Danube. Our standards of customer service and support are very high for all of our customers, and I am delighted that Danube has taken the opportunity to recognise the effort put in by our teams.”
