Address Beach Resort

The beautiful and breath-taking 77 storey Address Beach Resort designed by Killa Design Architecture provides an exotic blend of architectural elegance within a natural beach-side lifestyle in the heart of the city.

Over 120,000 sqm of our high value and innovative partitions, wall linings and ceiling systems were chosen for the project to achieve impact resistance, mould resistance and also improve indoor air quality of the building for its occupants and hotel residents.

For acoustic comfort and fire safety all gypsum demise walls between apartments had a minimum acoustic requirement of Rw 55dB & 120mins fire resistance within a small foot print of 170mm thickness. In addition to that, all the Internal partitions within the apartments required SEVERE DUTY rating as a complete system using a single layer boarding only at 100mm foot print.

In addition to Gyproc, our sister companies Weber and Vetrotech were also involved from early stages and supplied some of their high end solutions.

Weber’s waterproofing solutions were chosen for podiums, planters and various pools covering an area of 100,000 m². Weber’s certified applicator “Issam Kabbani & Partners co.” started the application under the supervision and support of the sales and technical team.

Vetrotech supplied Contraflam 60 to fulfill the project’s fire protection requirements as per UAE Life safety code. They also fulfilled the requirement of product to be tested as per the American standard including the difficult hose stream test.

Vetrotech’s glass was used in fire doors, curtain walls and partitions.
