Egypt Pavilion gives green light to Gyproc Solutions

We’re excited to add another Pavilion to our portfolio. This time it’s Egypt Pavilion which is an architectural representation capturing the rich heritage of Egypt all the while portraying its present culture. The Pavilion is 19m high and is built on 4 levels.

Sub-contractor ASI chose our innovative solution for external façade and has installed Saint-Gobain Façade Infill, Curtain Wall and External Ceiling Solutions at the Pavilion.

The external façade system is based on a structural steel framing (SFS) supporting plasterboard linings from inside and outside, finished with insulated render facade system from the outside, combining Saint-Gobain products manufactured in the UAE by 3 brands:  Gyproc, Weber & Kimmco-Isover.

The new external façade solution compared to other traditional building methods, is faster to install with multiple advantages, such as better acoustics, better thermal performance and superior fire performance. The system is also more sustainable.

In additional to exterior solutions, Gyproc also supplied internal partitions and ceiling solutions including the 19mm Gyproc CoreBoard specially designed for shafts.
