Infrastructure and Civil Work

Population growth and rapid urbanisation across the Middle East has fueled an explosion in demand for new transport, energy and wastewater facilities, and increased pressure on our already scarce potable water supplies.

In providing the infrastructure needed, we nee to ensure that roads and bridges have adequate traffic loading; structures and architectural elements are protected from the harsh climate with effective waterproofing to avoid corrosion of steelwork and concrete reinforcement; damage by fungi, bacteria and airborne chemicals are
avoided and repair and maintenance requirements minimised – and we need to do this safely and quickly to keep projects on track and control investment costs.

Our Solutions

We’ve developed advanced solutions that meet major civil engineering project challenges, from reinforcement grids for transport infrastructure; ceramic tile adhesives and grout; co-polymer admixtures that increase concrete durability and weather resistance and high performance bituminous membranes, corrosion inhibitors and epoxy and cementitious sealants that protect structures from water ingress, fungi and chemical attack.

Our solutions protect infrastructure and public projects, whilst our water systems ensure efficiency and reliability of ductile iron pipe systems, industrial valves and fire hydrants, municipal castings and wastewater collection and evacuation systems.

Our Norton Clipper drilling and cutting tools and fast-setting components help keep projects on track and minimise build and repair time.
