ETICS / EIFS

External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) or External Insulation Finish System (EIFS)  

ETICS is one of the most efficient systems to insulate external walls (new or renovated) to offer improved thermal and acoustic comfort. Theoretically ETICS has zero thermal bridges. Besides that, ETICS protects the structure from the thermal stresses caused by harsh weather conditions. ETICS / EIFS are a set of construction elements and components being applied directly to the facade.
KIMMCO-ISOVER ETICS SA slabs are specifically produced to provide high mechanical strength and superior thermal properties. ETICS SA slabs improves the acoustic performance of external walls as well as enhances fire safety of façade system. 
   

System components : 

  • Cementous Adhesive
  • Insulation material – KIMMCO-ISOVER
  • Anchors
  • Base coat
  • Reinforcement (glass fibre mesh)
  • Finishing coat / top coat with system primer and/or paint coating

Beside these, the system also needs other accessories, like corner beads, edge profiles, base profiles, etc.
 
KIMMCO-ISOVER offer a specially developed stone wool insulation for ETICS applications. These products has high mechanical strength, hydrophobic and chemically inert.
