THE REGION’S BIGGEST GYPSUM INDUSTRY EVENT
One of the largest competitions of its kind, the Gyproc Trophy event is held every two years, bringing together some of the industry's best teams in the Middle East. The objective of this competition is to highlight and recognize the drylining profession and showcase the skills of our region’s contractors in the following categories:
- Plasterboard
- Residential
- Ceilings
- Non-Residential
- Innovation

Based on strict judging criteria, an independent jury of professionals from the industry vote for a winning project in each of these categories.
What is the Judging Criteria?
The judging criteria are divided into three main sections:
| Craftsmanship | Contractor’s Influence | Overall Project |
|---|---|---|
| Criteria include quality of workmanship & technical challenges and also health & safety. | Effective or unusual use of Saint-Gobain products. | Overall interest, originality, and quality of the project. Health & Wellbeing and improved environmental impacts are also relevant factors. |
