With the region in the midst of an unprecedented hotel building boom ahead of EXPO 2020, Gyproc has been working to highlight the role of acoustics in hotel design. Working with Middle East Architect, we recently sponsored a round-table discussion with some of the region’s top architects and building professionals.
Created using the latest digital modelling techniques, the new roof is supported on giant 48metre long triangular pre-chambered trusses which houses important service ducts and cables.
It’s been a major challenge for our technical experts to bring together the information on all of our new products and systems; the latest design and installation advice and the new details and drawings needed to update the Middle East’s leading drywall specification guide. Needless to say, after more than 12 month’s work, they’ve completed the task and the new Middle East WHITE BOOK is now published.
The Saint-Gobain stand proved a great attraction, with visitors flocking to see the latest cutting edge developments in everything from high performance lining systems to glazing and insulation. 'THE BIG 5' has again underlined its position as the Middle East’s premier construction event, with more than 70,000 top industry professionals from around the world visiting this year’s show at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
We did it! We achieved Bronze in our 19th July WCM audit, thanks to the efforts from each and every one of you. Our Group auditors, Olivier and Derek, recognized our plant for our safety performance as well as the gradually increasing plant performance.
The 8th International Trophy ceremony was held in the National Maritime Museum, London, on Friday June 8th2012. Following the recent Diamond Jubilee celebrations, and in the final run up to the 2012 Olympic Games, London was a vibrant location for the evening gala dinner event, hosted by UK subsidiary British Gypsum.
